Hi, I’m Uraz Kaspar — a lecturer, writer, and media entrepreneur based in Reykjavík, Iceland.
I’m giving lectures at Yeditepe University, where I lead Turkey’s first rectorate-approved university course on podcasting, and continue to teach media innovation and storytelling. Throughout my academic career, I’ve also given lectures at Kadir Has University, Bahçeşehir University, and Nişantaşı University, developing new media programs that connect theory with practice.
I write news for T24, focusing on stories from Iceland’s society, culture, and human experience building bridges between Nordic perspectives
and Turkish readers.
I’m one of the co-founders of Podfresh, Turkey’s largest podcast network, and Poddict, the country’s first podcast marketplace. Along with
my partners, I’ve helped shape the foundation of Turkey’s podcast culture, developing award-winning projects and training thousands of creators.
Today, I continue to consult for leading media organizations on podcast strategy, production,
and audio journalism helping teams embrace storytelling in new and meaningful ways.
My work blends education, journalism, and media entrepreneurship, guided by a belief that innovation and collaboration can elevate the way stories
are told and shared.
